who has the cheapest 22lr ammo? id like to buy a box of 500 rounds. i checked at walmart and canadian tire and they both didnt have the big box of 500

I found with .22lr ammo, cheap isnt always good. after trying out a few different types i found this stuff by winchester called M22(i think) its in a black box, two boxes of 500 in one bigger box for around $50. its been about a year since i last bought some tho, so I dont know forsure if thats still the price.

I have a ruger 10/22 and its a fun little gun. I think its under 300. And i been having trouble finding the bulk cheap ammo as well.

I am still using 22 ammo from the 80s Went to Canadian Tire in Northern Ont . Bought 6 bricks and was charged for 6 boxes of 50 rounds.
Every once in awhile I get a bad round.
Oh well they're 30 years old and the $$ was right.

 Thanks to all on this site who assisted in my best taxidermy season . I hope I am even busier next season and can continue to produce even better mounts.

you bought 6 bricks in the 80s and still have some left ???? wow I wouldn't have any left from 6 cases and I would have ran out long ago .... :rolleyes:

I haven't shot 50 rounds in the 22 in 20 years of trapping.
