Its not the mountains ahead that may deter you from your goals, but merely the grain of sand in your shoe

Just a cheap ol' Henry's model. Oddly enough, I was researching tripods this morning. I see an upgrade on the horizon...

I see you just listed your old one. For the price if someone doesn't want it for a camera it would make a hell of a tri pod for a coyote call

All the best with the sale

 Joe

I crept to within 3 feet of this little chickadee while it was pecking at a seed. Imagine its surprise when it looked up and saw 2 feet of glass pointed directly at it! Gotcha!

The roosters are strutting their stuff for the ladies and becoming more cooperative in terms of being photography subjects. Escaping my lens isn't priority #1 in April it would seem. Took these this morning in dreary light (high ISO = not the sharpest images)...

Why did the rooster cross the road? To get to the EIGHT hens to the right of the frame!

A doe and twins in Brookfield this morning. The deer are in great shape for this time of year around here...

Two more from yesterday. This one had some tail on him; one of the longer ones I've seen...

Man, male pheasants and turkeys are quite the characters, especially in Spring. All colours and noise - sure bring the woods/fields alive. Nice pics.
