I heading up to Nova Sporting on the 11th for the first time, what chokes should I run for the course? Anything I should know before showing up about the course?

Great place to shoot!
Been to the new location a few times - just a 30 min drive for us!

Improved cylinder will get you through the course, if you are shooting an autoloader or pump - 12ga.
If you get into shooting at the Club, you should pattern your shotgun with different chokes.
Some of the guys shooting O/U or SxS shoot Improved and Modified chokes.

Enjoy the Winder Blast on the 11th!

As Kevin said ic,lm will work for the majority of the course . there may be the odd station where a mod or cyl choke would be an advantage . I am also a member there and the only 2 chokes I use there is a mullier u1 and u2 in my O/U ,

Thanks guys, I've been meaning to get down there their for a while now, shoots at my club always seem to correspond with events down there. I plan to shoot my pump, trying to figure out what to bring for loads & chokes. It sounds like my usual 1oz of #8, Skeet 2 & Modified should handle most of course. Look forward to seeing you guys there.

Had a great day there yesterday, beautiful course. Between the cold and my back, my scores weren't spectacular by any means even had one station were I failed to touch a target. Hopefully, I will redeem myself on my next visit.

Yes, some did well, I unfortunately was not one of them. Everybody has an off day once in a while.
