Muzzleloaders and muzzleloader shooting and hunting continues to grow in popularity. Getting started can seem a pretty daunting task, especially without any help from a seasoned shooter. There is most definitely a learning curve to muzzleloading, but it only requires a little research and attention to detail.

While choosing which muzzleloading rifle - or shotgun - is right for you is a personal preference, and finding what load combination any one rifle shoots best takes experimenting, many of the basics are the same regardless of firearm brand (excluding smokeless powder muzzleloaders).

Here are some good reference sites for todays modern inline muzzleloaders that may be helpful to those just getting stated, or a good refresher for experienced shooters. The CVA material has been updated as of 2016.

www.modernmuzzleloader.com Modern Muzzleloader website, a ton of info from shooters/hunters across NA, and even some folks from Down Under.

*Hopefully the links all work, if not just Google the name after the link and you will find it.

All worked for me except the last one, misspelled modern.

Things that I have witnessed over the last 20-40 years. Society has become devoid of common sense and reasoning skills. Idiots breeding more idiots who are led by the nose through simple flashing lights from their iphones and other gadgets. Not only are they told what to think and what to do all under the BS of " social connectedness" but they pay a monthly fee for it.
