So as I patiently wait for next season, I am starting to gather up all the gear and supplies I need bit by bit. Curious as to what everyone takes with them in their blind bag. Stuff you CANT go without, stuff you just take because you never know. Thanks/

I'll start the list.......

 

1. Kipper snacks or some sort of emergency snack

2. Couple bottles of water

3. Gun oil (CLP)

4. Extra choke tubes and wrench

In my deer blind...

 

1. A good head lamp

 

2. Mini first aid kit

 

3. Large carbon steel knife and folding saw

 

4. Extra pair of smart wool socks and sweat wicking t shirt.

 

5..Small flat head screw driver and Allen wrench for scope

 

6. Small field gun cleaning kit with a pull thru.

 

7. Two Honey crisp apples

4.Lighter or waterproof matches

8.Zip lock bag for licenses

 

9.Chocolate bar

This is what comes to mind:

Thermos of black tea
Nitrile gloves and large transparent bag to bring back birds/wings
Shell belt (full)
Calls
Fly dope (early goose)
Extra hats and gloves, late season
GPS to measure distance from dwellings and roads
Binos
Compass - in case the wind hasn't started blowing yet (set up with forecasted wind)
Headlamp to set up spread and blinds
Hunting knife
Scissors / game shears to remove wings
Camo Face mask / balaclava
Sandwiches and granola bars
GoPro camera

Edit: oh and my license (in ziplock like S N D mentioned)

ammo belt,lanyard&calls,folding saw,knife,a few ziplock bags,lighter,some type of snack, 2 headlamps and a few extra batteries,gloves,facemask,toiletpaper,binoculars and a pair of socks
